What is Maker Weekend?

Maker Weekend is a hackathon conducted in association with CET Maker Party to bring out the innovators in you and develop for social good.

What do we aim at?

Bringing together makers from different departments and put in a collaborative problem solving approach for a social benefit.

When and Where?

This 28th and 29th October. The event will be 24 hour long from 5pm(28th) to 5pm(29th).
Venue will be notified.

Who is organising?

Maker Weekend is a joint venture by IEEE SB CET and FOSS Cell CET.

Rules and Regulations

  • Each team must preferably have 3 members.
  • All works must be done at the venue from scratch and prior work is not encouraged.
  • Participants engaged in hardware projects are required to bring their components and instruments to the venue.
  • Software projects must be the maker's own work and strictly not a fork from the internet.
  • Students are requested to stay at the venue overnight and not permitted to go outside.
  • Projects will be judged based on relevence to problem statement.
  • Snacks and refreshments are allowed.
  • Coffee will be served throughout the event.
  • Participants must bring along their college ID cards.
